چکیده
The nonlinear steady state large amplitude forced vibration response of a laminated composite annular sector plate is presented. governing equation motion the has been obtained using kinematics first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and employing Hamilton’s principle. equations have solved in time domain modified shooting method arc-length/pseudo-arc length continuation technique. influence boundary condition, angle, annularity ratio on linear as well investigated. strain/stress variation across thickness presented to explain reason for decrease/increase hardening behaviour. periodic non-linear stress also throw light into factors influencing unequal half cycles multiple cyclic reversals, which detrimental fatigue design sectorial plates. frequency spectra reveals even odd higher harmonic contributions different cases due changes restoring force dynamics. modal interaction/exchange during cycle demonstrated deformed configuration plate.
